Francisco Vara-Orta was a guest speaker on Feb. 7 in my Multimedia Journalism class for a workshop on data journalism. I’ve created an infographic summarizing some of the professional insight he shared with us.
I’m proud that I was able to create an infographic using Canva despite my lack of experience in graphic design. The program was fairly easy to use, but finding the perfect template to start my project was difficult. Canva pushes paid content over free templates now, but with some persistence I was able to find one that fit my topic.
